so i have a watercooled system with a storm, maze4 gpu, and maze4 chipset in that order.. i also have two BIX's with single fans.. all pumped by a d5.. well, before i got all my WC stuff in, my chipset was a lot cooler than it is now.. i am happy with everything else, but my temps read 38, 42, 49 respectively.. is it ok that the chipset is this hot? am i doing soemthing wrong?
 
Check that you mounted the chipset block securely and correctly...that you used the right amount of thermal compound and cleaned off the old thermal compound. I would say that most likely the problem is that you mounted the block poorly. The water temperature wont be much higher going through the NB as it is going through the CPU.

Also some additional information would be welcome, like what motherboard/chipset you are using. I have a DFI Ultra-D and my temps are 49C with the stock cooler (and I have the thing at 1.8V instead of the stock 1.4?). So I would guess your temps seem a little high.
 
asus a8n sli premium.. that's pretty much all i know.. im not overclocking as of yet..
