I recently purchased Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising from good old games for $5.99. All I have to say is this is one of the best games I have ever played. For the price of a Burger King value meal I am getting more enjoyment than I ever will with the piece of shit that is Arma 2.

The game was originally released in 2001 but it was kind of a sleeper. Its a very well done game and I dont see why it wasn't more popular than it was.

If you like old games and want something fun to play give it a shot.

Has anyone else played this game?

Yeah it's pretty awesome, but no one bought it at the time so it sort of disappeared quickly.

I think it was a bit ahead of it's time and because it wasn't a "traditional" rts (at the time) it scared people off.

I reckon an updated version would do pretty good today with the right marketing.

Yeah its a really quality game. It has surprisingly good physics and gameplay. the graphics aint bad either for 2001. The game even has a dynamic day/night cycle with random weather.

Yeah, I had bought that when it came out.
I still use the "I have superior training and dedication" line IRL quite often.

One of the most awesome games of all times.

I bought it for 1.99 from Gamestop a very long time ago. It was an excellent game. It's too bad you only get that cool jet for the last mission.
