host website made in iweb without using .mac?

I've already searched for this, so don't freak out at me since I'm a noob at internet stuff.

Is it possible to make a website in iweb and then export it and have it hosted with a domain name and stuff? Right now I only know you can use .mac to host it, but I don't want that. If it is possible, how would it be done?

Sorry if this is a really obvious question, I just couldn't find the answer.

Yes, it's possible. Simply create your site in iWeb, export to folder, then upload it to your webhost. You can't have a few features with iWeb if you don't use .Mac, like live blogging, and moving photo slideshows, but everything else works just fine.
 
yep, i use the method above to make websites.....to bad you can't upload straight through ftp from iweb.....that'd be nice...
 
If you want a simple template type designer (WYSIWYG), I'd suggest Rapidweaver over iWeb any day. iWeb sites are very bloated and iWeb in itself is very limiting.

I'll look into it, but so far rapidweaver looks very good. I'll give it a try, thanks all.
