Host-Based Firewall Question

In terms of host-based firewalls, which is better? Windows firewall, or Zone Alarm firewall? Does (could) a third-party firewall be better than an included firewall, like the one in Windows?

Just wondering what everybody thinks, personally.

I know there's really know way to know this (probably), but figured somebody might be able to shed some light on this topic. I know whether or not one software security solution is "better" than another is always a controversial topic.. but was hoping somebody knew something solid that was different internally between these two firewalls in the way they protect the system, or the way they operate.

Just being curious as always
