So this may sound really dumb, but I have a question regarding all of my connections. Should I put any type of lubricant or sealer at each connection in my loop?

The reason I ask this is because I noticed that I really have to crank the hoses onto all the fittings and was worried that one day when I want to remove them I won't be able to.

They will be tight, but I wouldn't worry about it. I have nylon braid reinforced tuning in my loop and it holds the barbs like a bum holds his bottle. Just takes some twisting while you pull.

you can run hot water over then for a minute to make it easier to remove them...also helps for tight installations.

Well that is re-assuring to hear. Actually after my post i tried the ot water trick and it sems to make it a lot easier by making the tubing more maleable. Let's just hope no un-installation will be necessary anytime soon. :D
