Hi,

Bought an external hardrive today cause i wan't to put all my music onto that. taking up too much space on my hardrive and have to keep deleting things.

Problem is i don't know how to transfer them on my external one now. only transferring shortcut. as ye can gather i'm not that great with computers so if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

Select the things you want to copy, and right-click. Select "Copy" from the menu. Then navigate to the external drive and right-click and select "Paste".
 
Open the shortcut and hit control-A. Then do the copy/paste thing.
