hook up mp3 player to car

My car has an AUX-IN and I need to get a 3.5mm Stereo M/M cable.

The shortest one I was able to find was 3 feet.

Does anyone know if I can get a shorter one anywhere? I don't need a 3 foot cable since the mp3 player will sit in a tiny compartment right by the jack.

I'd love to have a multi flash card reader (and usb port) in my car like I have in my computer. (instead of a traditional stereo that is)

Some newer cars have mp3's players built in. That's definitely the way to go for cars. My next car I will make sure has an mp3 player built in.
