Hey guys, is there anyway to hook up my old Logitech 5.1 system to my TV? It's an older system for computers that only has 3 inputs for Front/Rear/Center. My tv has digital and analog out. I know the analog out is right and left, which is why I am not sure if this would work. I'd even be ok with just hooking up the front 2 speakers, and not the whole 5.1 system if possible. Thanks.

Edit: Thought of an idea that might work. Let me know what you think. Y cable that turns Left to Right out into one jack, and just plug it into the front speakers. I believe all jacks are 3.5mm, but not sure about the audio out.

you wont get real surround sound out of those speakers. unless you have the model with the digital input (z550). you would have to get some kinda of receiver with analog pre-outs to get real surround sound working. but if you do that, you'd be better off just buying a sound bar.

the best option is just to plug them into the analog out and use adapters to connect the tv out into all the 3.5mm inputs. it will be in stereo.

I can live with being stereo. I just ordered a new TV and I have heard that the speakers aren't great. I am not really an audiophile, so I most likely won't notice, but was wondering if I could give this speakers some life. I'd probably just set it up as a 2 speaker set up. I imagine most things are broadcast in just stereo anyway.
