Homemade Water Blocks?

Doesn't anyone around here make their own water blocks? Not counting el-cheapo ones either, I mean good performing, high-flow, custom home-made water blocks. I'm starting to machine up a new one, and was thinking about starting a worklog on here, and just stopped to check out what kind of flow designs other people are using in their blocks, and I haven't seen a single thread anytime recently where someone is using a decent homemade block. I know it can be cheaper for some people to buy one if they don't already have the needed tools, but I know I'm not the only one around here who already has a busting-at-the-seams tool shop.

Few post over there any more, but ProCooling has plenty to get you motivated and give you ideas. Plenty of lucky bastards who know how to work (and have access) with a CNC ;).
 
Put it this way....a lot of people are completely capable of machining a waterblock. Time and copper are both costly, and I would say most that have access to lathes, mills, and CNC equipment may pass on spending hours setting up machnes and actually creating a waterblock than just buying one that is pre-engineered and relatively inexpensive.
 
Copper is not that costly if you know how to go about getting it. I picked up a 3"x3/8"x48" bar from a local metal shop for about $35
