I need help.
I have a Motorla HD cable box that is hooked to my Panosonic Hd tv through component jacks because cable box does not have a hdmi slot.

I also want to hook up my sony 5.1 htib, and my ps3 both of these have hdmi slots. How will I set these up?

what HTIB?

whithout knowing, I'm going to guess this: hook the PS3 up to the receiver with HDMI, and then run HDMI from the receiver to the TV. For the cable box, run a coax or optical cable to another audio in on the receiver, and leave the component hooked up to the TV.
