I have some Q's I wish to purchase a nice little system for my mom and pop this year for their tv. I was thinking about something like this

Can I..and if..What would I use to connect the audio out port to the DVD player?

Those are comp speakers and not intended to be used for a HT setup. If you absolutely wanted to though, you could get a cable with 2 rca connectors on one end (red and white) and 1 male 3.5mm stereo connector on the other.
