I currently have my 360 hooked up to my x540's via rca to headphone adapter, and matrix mode enabled. While it doesn't sound bad, I'm really missing actual surround sound. I know of the Klipsch DD-5.1 and the Creative DDTS-100, but is there any other way of doing this?
 
The only ways to get 5.1 audio out of an X360 are HDMI or Optical so you need a digital decoder that has this interface. So a receiver or DTS100 (or other brands) are your options.
 
Is there any other device that will allow me to output 5.1 other than the klipsch or creative devices I listed?
