Hey everyone, I have a Linksys WR-110 router that is junk. It slows down after a couple days and will go back to advertised speeds after a hardboot, only to slow down again in a day or two. This is even hardwired to my desktop.

I have 10Mbps cable internet and my desktop will stay hardwired, but I plan on also doing some pretty hardcore gaming sessions, running a wireless tablet, phone, and maybe a smart tv or two.

Any recommendations? Back in february I posed the same question and a few of you mentioned the ASUS N66U, and the Routerboard RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN. Are these still good recommendations today? I'm looking for something fairly easy to setup too.

Does the AC66U also support other data rates?

I see this in their description.

802.11a : 6,9,12,18,24,36,48,54Mbps
802.11b : 1, 2, 5.5, 11Mbps
802.11g : 6,9,12,18,24,36,48,54Mbps
802.11n : up to 450Mbps
802.11ac: up to 1300Mbps

Does it use multiple data rates at one time, or just one?
