Home office laptop help

I've been searching Amazon for weeks and for a decent laptop around $600.

This one seems like a good price for the hardware it comes with. It's main use will be managing taxes, multitasking; itunes, frostwire, web surfing, and storing pictures. I'd like to have HDMI output so I can play shows and pictures on my tv.

Are you specifically looking for a 15.6inch? Is this a desktop replacement? How important is portability? Etc. Etc.

I'm replacing an old laptop that barely surfs the web. it takes 10 minutes to load itunes. I took that Linux clsss that was posted a couple weeks ago and installed Ubuntu, great OS, but computer is to out dated. 1g ram, intel celeron 560 @ 2.13, GPU intel 965GM.
I don't have the room at my place right now for a desktop.
So my home office is on the couch with a laptop. So I just was thinking 15.6 screen would be lighter on my lap and easier to move around.

One day I dream of building a enthusiast OC desktop, but until I finish remodeling my basement to make my home office, i'm stuck with cheap laptops.

Personally I wouldn't want a 1366x768 15.6inch (or really any size) laptop but I place a higher emphasis on the display.
