Hi guys,

I'm looking for a router to place @ the rents house which will VPN all the traffic from there LAN to my LAN.

Is there any home solution that will do such a thing? I currently use Pfsense as my home router and am able to PPTP int my network from my iPhone and MAC.

Cisco ASA. Another PFSense box. Anything that supports OpenVPN on both sides. Hamachi.

does anyone have any XP using a firebox (specifically a WatchGuard MS16S32E10) and a pfsense box?

Im very new to firebox and since they seam cheap on ebay... well i'm hoping.

Arm processor with only 128 MB RAM... Not gonna work. At least go for the x700 if you're going this route. Keep in mind this box will be EXTREMELY loud compared to any other solution :p

just to better understand... Why do you think that unit will not work? It's going to be a single PC and VoIP phone running all network over a bridged connection. According to the specs of the unit it can throw 30mps over a vpn connection.

Again... Just going by the white paper on the unit. I will definitely take first had XP over any white paper / product listing.

PFsense supports i386 and AMD currently, no ARM (or other chips) support currently to my knowledge.

Right. I was thinking of using the software that's currently installed on the firebox verse trying to get pfsense to install on the unit.

Thoughts?

Has anyone used firebox & pfsense before?
