putting together a small vm lab, mostly for M$ products, so hyper-v , dc,iis, exchange, sharepoint , sophos utm firewall... the like. Will also run a couple of web sites. ASRock EP2C602-4L/D16 , 128gb ecc

got a mishmash of disks to sort out:

2x evo 850 250gb 2x evo 840 250gb, 1x evo 850 500gb, 1x 4tb Seagate SSHD, a couple of 1tb wd greens. Will also get an ibm M1015 or M5015 for raid

so i was thinking

2x samsung evo 850 on raid 1 for system
2x samsung evo 840 on raid 0 for vms

500gb ssd for a storage tier with storage spaces and add the rest to the pool

external hdd / nas...for backup

bad idea ? my budget is rather limited
