I'm having a hard time selecting what power supply to purchase here, any help would be appreciated.

Here is the planned build:
CPU: X2 3800+ (s939, Stock)
Motherboard: Asus A8N32 SLI
Memory: 1 GB (2x512) DDR400 (may just drop in 2x 1GB sticks)
Video: Radeon 7000 (PCI)
Hard Drives: 1x80GB for System
4x 500GB using onboard RAID5

I may pick up 4x 750GB if the price comes down before I build.
In the future, I plan on adding up to 2 RAID cards (PCIe 4x) and up to 16 more hard drives.

so total of 20+ hard drives? you're going to need 750+ watts psu, I'm running 16 drives on corsair 620hx but I wouldn't risk adding any more drives. As for good psu look at pcp&c 750quad or offerings from silverstone or seasonic

I'd look at the Ultra 1000 or 1600.

PCP&C 750 only has 10 more amps on the 12 volt rail then the Corsair, and in stock form I believe it has less SATA connectors too. They did just release a 1200 watt version, but with only 6 SATA connectors. You could have PCP&P put a custom wiring harness in with more drive connectors, but I have no idea how much that would cost.
