Holy Points Batman!

Also running a 1900GT here, how many seconds a frame is yours reporting? Also, are you running 3D clocks through ATITool?
Hint: GPU speed > RAM speed, I OC'd mine to 640MHz core and it does 2.2s/frame compared to the original 2.9s/frame. That's around 30% improvement.
i wish my GPU rig was more stable, crappy PSU FTL!

Is anyone else getting 400+ pointers lately on the PS3? Pretty sweet.

$600 ~2000 PPD system:

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 - $119
CPU: C2D e6420 - $197
Memory: GEIL 2x512mb PC6400 4-4-4-12 - $76
PSU: FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX400-PN $45

Total for Netbox = $437

If you want a harddrive and case, well those are about $40 each, so $507+shipping total.

This setup should overclock to at least 3.0Ghz with stock cooling, resulting in around 1400ppd. You could also bump up to an e6400 and stay on budget, or even an e6600 without the case.

Updates in BOLD:
Better parts, better performance, only $10 more.

I have an ATi X1900XTX up and folding, I'm talking with a guy on the FS/FT forums to get another one up and running for the GPU folding box. My card puts out at least two full WUs per day, I haven't actually kept much of an eye on it since I got it going.

The GPU client seems to me to be in a lot better shape than the Windows SMP. I had originally installed the WinSMP client on that box, got two EUEs in a row and chucked it in favor of GPU. No regrets.
