You guys should head on over to The SSD Review today and put your name in the hat to win a Crucial M500 240GB, 480 and 1TB SSD or a $7000 800GB flash accelerator card. It's easy to enter and you have multiple chances to win so why not try your luck?

Three random draws will occur with this giveaway. The third prize winner will be awarded a Crucial M500 240GB SSD, the second prize winner will receive a Crucial M500 480GB SSD and the Grand Prize winner will receive a Crucial M500 1TB SSD. LSI Corp.has been kind enough to offer the opportunity to giveaway one of their premium offerings, the LSI Nytro™ MegaRAID® NMR 8120-4i Flash Accelerator Card.

How come you guys never give away high end raid controllers like this? ;)

lol wut?

"Residents of the Province of Quebec are not eligible and Canadian residents must complete a skill testing question to be awarded the prize should they be selected."

Gotta keep your eyes on those Canadians, eh? ;)

Quebec is excluded from a lot of contests. This isnt unique.

Yeah, our laws are anal about constests and suck pretty hard for no good reason.

Having never won anything, what happens when you win a pricier item like the LSI? If it's worth around $7000.00, doesn't that mean you then have to fork out a "win" taxes of about $3500 (50-ish%) if you are lucky (or unlucky) enough to win? While it would be cool to win and play with, forking out $3500 in i-won taxes would suck for something like this that's hard to sell.

Paying down the tax would certainly be a bummer for that particular item... but the others.. lol

I think you're taxed at the regular bracket on your winnings if you're in the USA, and if the winner is in Canada they'd have to pay %30 to the IRS.
