Holes under Mobo

I am going to be modding my case pretty soon and I need to drill holes in my motherboard tray in order to help hide some wires. Because of the way my case is set up the lowest point in which I can drill one of these holes is under where the motherboard will be. I was wonder if I would run into any problems by running the wires (one red and one black) under the mobo and then through the hole in the mobo tray. Will the wires cause a short or something in the mobo if they accidentally touch it?

Thanks!

As long as those wires are covered in rubber... which by the coloring I'm guessing they are, they are non-conductive so you should be fine. Anyone else can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

That's fine. I have used the motherboard to hide wires many a time. If you are going to drill the holes yourself, you might want to get some grommets just to give added protection from any sharp hole edges to the wires that you will be running.

Something like these.

Good luck
