Hole Saw Kit

I am buying a Lian-li case and need some tools.I bought a dremel, But I also need a hole saw kit.I found some kits online,but there not cheap.Lian -Li's are aluminum,so it's not like I need the strongest round bits to make some blow holes.

Does anyone know where I could get a kit for a good price? (Arbor,pilot bit ect..)

I buy all mine at Home Depot/Lowes and just attach them to my electric drill. Word of warning..don't attempt to make blow holes with an cordless drill. My Dewalt 18v doesn't have the power to do it..neither does my Craftsman cordless.

um what the hell are you talking about. What do you want him to use a hand crank . I am assuming you are talking about corded drills to noncorded. 14v black and decker works fine for blowholes in steel and aluminum (and I used to use dewalt and milwalkee cordless drills to cut thrue metal and wood doors). If your battery is low or crapy then it will not cut as well. But a cordless drill should work fine, a corded drill would work better.

Thanks for the warning.My dad has a heavy duty drill from a machine shop,so I think I'm covered on that part.What holesaw bit = 120,92,and 80mm in inches? I

Time to upgrade, then! I've got a 19.2v Craftsman cordless drill/driver, and it cuts through aluminum, with the bi-metallic hole saws I have, like a hot knife through butter!! I used the 60mm hole saw on an aluminum case, and it cut through in about 2 seconds.

As far as for hole saw sets, I suggest that you buy the arbor/pilot bit seperately, then just get the bi-metallic hole saws in the sizes you need. I've tried cutting through metal with the cheap-o hole saws, and THAT can take forever. I've got a set of those I picked up from Harbor Freight a while back, and use those strictly for when I have to cut through something soft, like wood or plastic.

By buying the bi-metallic hole saws seperately, I think you'll be happier in the long run.

Good advice! I don't want to mod a new lian-li with a crappy hsaw set.By buying the arbor/bit,and then the hole saw bits separate, I can get the only (2) I need for now, 80mm and 120mm.
