I'm using a Ultra 500watt modular Powersupply, I was wondering if It's good enough for this system

AMd 64bit 4000+
nVidia XFX 7800GT
2gb(2x1gb) pc3200 OCZ platinum ram
1x 160gb Seagate Barracuda HD
Creative labs Sound blaster audigy 2 ZS platinum Pro(and what ever the thing that the ZS comes with that goes in a bay)
Sony Dvd recorder/player
asus A8N sli Premium

What do you guys think? I'm curious as sometimes with asus probe it reads my vcore voltage fluxuating quite a bit, even when i'm just surfing the web. And somtimes the 12v rail is below 12v, like 11.8 or 9. I'm not sure whether i should trust that reading as I've heard it can be innacurate somtimes.
Oh, and if you think it's not good enough, could you please provide a link(like a newegg link or otherwise) to a (under 90 hopefully) good psu that should cover what i use and more(prospect SLI?)
thanks!

The Ultra power supplies are a mixed bag. Some proclaim them to be rebranded, recased cheapy power supplies. Others love them.

Personally, I would never buy one, but since you already have one...if the system is running alright, it should be OK.

However, the best way to check would be to buy a multimeter from Radio Shack (they're cheap, $5-10) and to test the rails from your power supply under load.

If they're spot on, then the psu is fine. If they're way off, you probably need a new one.

Software voltage monitoring is HIGHLY inaccurate. Never judge by it ;)
