HL2 starts preloading tommrow?

In case your readers are having a hard time logging into Steam, its because Valve has begun the pre-load of CS: Source. It should be available to play tomarrow August 18th.

If you don't know, CS: Source will be pre-loaded if you qualify for the beta, which is everyone who holds a HL2 voucher, is a part of Valve's official Beta testing program, and those who have CS:CZ installed (which is where I fall into).

Note: I bought CS:CZ through Steam on Sunday, mainly to be included in the Beta...yes I want CS:S that bad :cool:

Note 2: I had no idea CS:CZ multiplayer was this nice. Much more fun than regular CS 1.6 in my opinion (appears to be less hackers and better graphics).

well its 8/17 7:24pm East Coast US and its not preloading yet...

someone post when it starts..
 
Also, it should be noted that things like textures can be finalized WELL before the game is finally released. If and when it starts preloading, that won't mean that the game is about to be released.
