HL2 Scripted Sequences / Movies

Hey guys ... I don't really know what I'm looking for (term-wise), and that's why I've come here for some assistance. Basically, I'm looking for any information as to how to locate (or maybe even create) scripted sequences that other people have made for games like HL2 (or others). I know that one term commonly used is "machinima," however I'm guessing that most stuff I find using this is just a pre-created video of a sequence.

What I'm looking for, is some sort of script that will actually play back within the source engine, so I can watch it in real-time rendered goodness Anyone got some pointers on what I oughta look for? Thanks

Garry's mod should be the first thing you look into.

Yeah, I know about Garry's mod, but I'm looking for scripts that have been made for HL2 or Garry's mod, etc.

I just want to be able to view pre-made scripts in the source engine rather than watching a pre-rendered video.

I'm not totally sure about exactly what you need, but there is a nifty source engine tutorial along with what looks to be a massive community at Machinima.com
