This is what I will be running hl2 on, anyone running on a similar system/ if so how is it running?

Thanks

processor 2.4A ouch gf3 ouch and 512 ram are they pc3200 or at least 2700? if not then ouch..

hl2 is very cpu dependant.. u have a 2.4a.. if it was a 2.4c then it would be alot better but that's an ok proc for the game ... and those 512 mb ram better not be pc2100.... and the gf3 are faster than the gf4mx right? so that should be fine... so IMO u should be able to run 800x600 medium settings just fine

I ran CS:S Source on my dads comp, he has pretty much the same thing as you... He has my old Geforce 3 ti 200. I ran CS:S on 800x600 on medium graphics and it run great, no slowdowns. You MAY just MAY be able to get it to 1024x768 but who knows... just give it a shot. It will run for sure and it should run fine and be playable depending on where you set the graphics.
