HL 2...simply...mind boggling

Half Life 2....has ...blown away the competition. Does anyone want to buy my OLD doom 3....for $10.00 ? This game has all the excitement and mind blowing graphics to get the most of the new generation cards. Wow....what more could you ask for?
 
I dunno about other people, but online games I'd never buy used due to the possibility of someone using the CDKEY :p

No $hit....things are starting to get worse around here, and this is one of the most misplaced threads that I've seen in the last couple weeks. It's times like this I wish I WAS a mod, because whats mind boggling is how/why so many threads are ending up scattered about the forums so carelessly.

You do not make much sense. FIrst you begin by talking about how good HL2 is and then you go on to saying you want to sell your Doom 3. However, then you start praising Doom 3 and asking-

There are some parts that are fairly difficult on medium difficulty actually, but most of the stuff that I think makes it so easy is that health and ammo replenishments are never far away, and you start to rely on it too much. I'm gonna finish HL2 in the next couple days hopefully and wait awhile, but I do want to play through it again on hard and take my time....instead of rushing through a good chunk of the game in a single 13 hour sitting one day. ;)

I learned a lesson way back when the CoD demo came out. On normal settings, it was a decent WWII FPS. Turning the difficulty up all the way, however, made it a completely different game. You actually had to take your time and think tactically and I enjoyed the game so much more that I've made that a policy.

I did the same thing with FarCry, turning up the difficulty right off the bat. Yeah, it took me longer and it was sometimes frustrating, but it was well worth it. I'm doing the same with HL2 and I have no regrets.

Remember, you can only play a game ONCE for the first time. Make it count.
