Just wondering if anyone has rma'd a drive to Hitachi. How did the process go, what drive did you send back, what drive did you receive as a replacement, etc etc.

I had a sweet response all wrote out but my windows XP pro install flaked on me.

Anyway,
i sent in an IBM 30GB 75GXP and got a Hitachi 30GB 7k250 in return about 2 weeks later.

I just called the toll free tech support number to kick things off. Gave them serial numbers off the drive and then hit up their website to print off some info.

It all worked out pretty well.
