hit power switch and...burning smell !!!!!!!!! :(

ok so this is my first build and i had just got my last part in fedex today so i was wiring it up and when i finished i showed it to my dad he checked it and then as soon as i turned on the computer the LEDs flashed on for a second and the exhast case fan spun for a sec and everything stopped working......then a second later i smelled a burning smell and my dad said it was coming from my Power supply((Antec neopower 480)) and i checked it out and it was so here i am with and nice computer and HUGE PROBLEM>>PLEASE HELP ME OUT
 
Sorry man. Hopefully it's just the Power Supply that went poof without damaing any of your other components. I'd quickly get ahold of another one and see how it goes. Other than that there's not a lot to be done. I trust that now when you press the power button, nothing happens?

yea hope it was your power supply. You DID mount your mobo on the posts didn't you? i was SO SO close to not puttin my comp on the posts. wow!
