Here's the situation, right now I have my 3500+ that is Prime95 stable at 10x240mhz running 1:1 with the RAM at 2.5-3-3-10 timings. My vcore is 1.65v(1.6v actual) and my vdimm is at 2.8v.
No matter what I do I cannot get past 2400mhz. My memory is memtest86 stable for 24 hours at DDR500 with 2.5-3-3-10 timings on three diff mobos, so RAM is out of the equation. I've tried the following with 1.7v(1.65v actual) vcore and 2.85v vdimm with no luck:
10x245
10x250
11x228
10.5x240
Loweing my RAM to CAS 3 actually makes Prime95 fail faster and laxing to 2.5-4-4-10 doesnt work either. My temps never go above 62C load and my idle temps are 37C for the CPU.
Right now I'm just futzing around and trying 10.5x238 with 2.5-2-2-10 timings seeing as memory settings have no effect and CAS 3 actualy makes Prime95 fail faster.
I can run 10x250 with a 5:6 memory divider but thats just not worth it, I bought DDR500 memory for a reason.
Anyone have any support to offer?
