Anyone know the true memory clocks for this card? HIS website says 3800MHz, and all online reviews I find say 1000MHz. ???

I've been having video issues with my HTPC, running the HIS HD5670 512Mb Ice-Q.
Someone in the FS/FT has an XFX HD5750 for sale, that I am considering.

The Hard|OCP reviews say that the 5750 does in fact beat the 5670. But the reference cards use GDDR3, while HIS uses GDDR5. And, if the clocks are indeed faster on the non-reference HIS card, that may also affect the expected performance gains.

1000mhz = 4000mhz GDDR5.. multiply the number by 4 to get the actual data rate IIRC.

Thanks, I was wondering if it was a data rate spec, and not the physical clock speed.

Plus, everywhere I looked, there was never any mention of the Ice-Q being overclocked.

Although, that means according to HIS... @3800MHz, that would make the physical clock 950MHz, not 1000. hmm.
