HIS brand any good?

I've heard mixed reviews about them. May people say their cards are great, but some complain about their tech support.

Others complain that they do not receive their rebate checks, but in fact it is a 3rd party business that usually hands rebate processing.
 
HIS makes a great card. I like The IceQ versions of their cards. I just got my rebate from my card I purchased in January.
 
just got my rebate from my HIS 4870 512MB purchase I made in March.

Only paid $128 after rebate RAR!
 
I have an IceQ 3870 and it's been great. I've never had to mess with their support, so I can't speak to it. From now on though, it will be XFX for me.
 
my only expierence with his was a 2600pro, first one was DOA, second one was fine.
 
still waiting on my rebate from them on one of my 4850's

 
I'm on my first HIS card after years of owning Sapphire and it's been great. Although my next card will probly be from XFX.
 
True, but is $12 worth the sacrifice of the double lifetime warranty of XFX?

Why no, no it isn't. I didn't consider warranties. Thanks for reminding me. ;) How is XFX support? A double lifetime warranty (whatever that means) isn't any good if their support isn't up to par.
 
HIS video card are good. As all the previous post say, ICEQ are quiet and cool.

I had to RMA my card(x1950) to them and i receive it back within 2 weeks. No complaint.
