HIS 5850 @ Newegg..

$315 :rolleyes: Geeze the price keeps going up on those 5850's. I thought the retail MSRP was $259 ?

Will be funny once the supply is back in full stock, they will be giving them away. I bet by Feb/March they will be down to $199, and the 5870 will be $299, and 5970 $499. That's once nVidia officially previews their new GTX-380 or what ever it will be called, with their nFinity technology :)
 
Wow, it's still there forty minutes later.

You'd think then that they'd be able to manage keeping a 5870 or two in stock.
 
The scary part is that even at this even more inflated price, it's still a bargain compared to how much the GTX 285 goes for right now.
 
I know I am sucker for paying this much but I caved, I just couldn't wait any longer since my bonus is burning a hole in my pocket. Now hopefully black friday/monday will bring me good fortune on the other half of my upgrade, a Dell 3008wfp...

I have been using Ebay and Craigslist for big purchases like that Dell 3008WFP. I bought my three Dell 2408WFP's off Craiglists for like $349 ea, brand new Revision A2.

$3000........huh???:eek: That's a shit load for a 3008......must be gold or something.

I just bought two 2408 Dell monitors for EyeFinity on eBay over the last two months......picked them both "used" for right at $300 each.....:)
 
I think asking 315.00 for a 260.00 card will keep in stock for a while.

I'm REALLY HAPPY that I bought my 5850 on launch day for the original msrp :D.
 
I just want a pair of 5870's. I mean come on. How hard should it be to get ahold of 2 graphics cards....
