Hiper 5X0W Type-R

i know it been in here for long time but i have some other question...

I have pretty simple build with P4 3Ghz 2M Cache on Gigabyte GA-8I945GMF and 1G DDR2 667Mhz with DVD-R and SATA2 HD.

i need new psu and i taught about the Hiper one
i have two models one is 530 and one is 580 with 10$ diffrence... it worth it ?
should i get them ot the Enermax Noisetaker 420W (Link)
same price here....

And JhonnyGuru, at jan this year u said u probably get one Hiper to review, u did it ?

I'd recommend the 580 over the 530, but I'd recommend something else before both. Maybe a Silverstone SZ-56? No bling, tons of power.

No. I got one of the Andyson AD-550's that it's based off of, but it doesn't have the perforated housing and the over-rated label of the Hiper and the modular connections that de-rate voltages like the Hiper, so I guess I should still have a look at one to really know how much they suck.

i'm not looking for the modular one, for the regular sleeved one...

in here i dont have many options for that price...
its the Hiper 4m-580
and the FSP400-60GLN
and the Enermax Noisetaker 420W i gave u

when will be the best ?

Edit : i've just noticed i can get the Enermax LIBERTY EL400AWT 2.2 400W for almost same price, worth it ?

Als, if modular isn't in the criteria, what IS the criteria? Price range?

Are you not in the US so options are minimal?

i want something nice looking, good air, and stable cuz now i have some genary (550w at 20$)
the hiper satisfy me or i better get the enermax...
and im from Israel so not many options .

Isn't the Type-R about $100? You have a lot of options in that price range.

I got the Enermax Liberty 500w over the type-R for about the same price. I've also had a Enermax Noisetaker and its a nice and quiet PSU, but it doesn't have cable management.

I think the problem is he's in Isreal.

You can get the 400W but not the 500W?

Can you get the Seventeam ST-550EAG? Those are fairly common in Europe (distributed by Asialand France) so they might be available in Isreal too?

That would be better than either and should cost less too.

the 400W cost 449 NIS that is 101$
the 500W cost 685 NIS That is 154$....

i think u understad my situation...
i just saw i can get this HEC : HEC for same price
is it good ?
