Hinges on the door?

I've never modded a computer or anything before, so I don't know what can and can't be done, but what I thought would be a cool idea would be to somehow mount hinges on the side panel of my case so I don't have to take the whole thing off every time I wanted to get into the case. Do you guys have any suggestions as to how I can make this work, or if I can even make it work?

Anything can be done if you put your mind to it.

To hinge it you will need to remove all the tabs that lock in as you slide it forward - easily done with a dremel and a cut-off disk. I would suggest also cutting away the fold at the back of the side panel that you screw it to the case with. Where that was, you could screw in a piano type hinge (one hinge that goes all the way down for extra strength). So the hinge would run down the back left edge of the case, and the back edge of the side panel.

Hopefully that makes sense :)

If you ever wanted to take it off you remove the screws (use thumbscrews?) holding the hinge to the case.

Thank you...I'll have to go get a dremel...just for the record, here's my case:

I'm not 100% sure about making a hinged door so if you have any other ideas for me please post them!
