Highest voltage 'allowed' for an 805?

Hey guys I have a pentium d 805 and after 1.6v on stock air cooling it crashes, whats wrong? my ambient is 23C and CPU runs at 62-67C at full load what can i do to be able to maintain stability ? i tried closing all my services and background programs to make it run faster it helps but still crashes when i take it up that high. i also tried looking in the forums and oc databases to see what people do to it but no luck. someone help please
 
Well highest voltage does not mean you will reach the maximun overclock. I am running my D805@ 4ghz stable at 1.525, it runs nice and cool at 29C -36C load with my $300 custom water cooling.
 
well i can't seem to get over 119 fsb without it crashing at 1.575v, i feel like if i was to somehow prevent it from crashing at 1.6v it will go higher
 
um. 133fsb is stock..how do you figure 119? 16v is WAY too high for air cooling. i wouldnt do over 1.55v.
 
sorry typo, i meant 219 fsb @ 1.575 runs fine but 220 @ 1.575 or 1.6 crashes within the minute
 
i have the asus p5wd2g ws is that listed as the MCH voltage (im guessing it is). so chipset voltage also helps the cpu stay stable? lol wow :eek:
