highest temp

what do you guys think the highest safe temp is for a p4 northwood? i plan on ocing this thing a bunch but i dont have much exp with ocing p4's
setup-
3.2 27idle, 40 load w/ zalman7000alcu, as5

those are nice temps, i like to stay below 60 myself.

Intels Spec Sheet says to stay below 70C or else it'll start throttling down the speed and shut the cihp down.

right now on stock speeds with that zalman on the lowest fan speed im getting 60C temps. but my temps are always way off, my Abit is stupid i think

I try to keep my processors under 35C if I can help it.

I can almost always stay under 35* air w/ the Zalman 7000. Im running 37* under full load just because im doing some heavy duty video encoding, while chatting, and surfing the [H]ard .

since the summer time has started i'm lucky if my AMD is in the 40's =-/

Ive squished in some AS5 in mimne. Ya the summer time has been screwing with my temps. IIm running 32*C on medium processing. Ambient temp is 68*F though.

i used to have that prob, but now my comp is in the basement, and that generally stays around 64F ambient
