higher bandwidth with HT off?

i am wondering why i am getting higher bandwidth scores in sisoft when i turn off HT on my P4?
when i have it on i get about 4500 avg
when i have it off i get about 5500 avg
system is in sig
btw i have same timings and speed with HT on and off
this happen to anyone else?
