I have AMD XP 3000 and am running oced at 2.3 and my idle temps are 28 C case, and 50 C cpu...? Why so high? Before oc they were at 24 and 48 so it doesnt have to do with that. I have 5 fans, 2 in back, 1 in plexi on side, 1 on heatsink, and 1 in front.

What kind of thermal material is in between the CPU and heatsink? Is the heatsink properly seated?

Also, your airflow might be hampered by something, or it's not very good at all.

what HSF you using? is it the stock one?

how about wire cluter? that could block the airflow

also, try a bios update, on my mobo, my temps dropped 10-15C from updating the bios (the sensor was off)

Nothing is really wrong, but I'd be worried. And I dont think its airflow thats bad because my shuttle has one fan and its still like 26 idle. And shuttles are ALOT tighter
