high temp question

I just installed a storm block with swiftechs new radiator and a polorflo GPU block. after all the water was in and I started the comp the water is really cloudy and the temps are around 45 at start up. If you turn the computer off the cloudyness will go away but air is seen in the tubes. Now the obvious thing would be the cloudyness is caused by the air in the tubes so if this is true, will it go away and if it goes away will my temps go down? Thanks.

alright, you need to bleed your loop. if you dont know what that means, go read one of the stickies. it will explain everything. bleeding is getting the air outta the loop, your resiviour or t-line should do that
 
i thought it did bleed it out...but the left over air seems to not wanna come out... Is this why I have high temps though?
 
Just let it run for a while and the air will work its self out................ :cool: Just make sure that you keep it topped off..............your temps should drop some when it finished bleeding also, hard to say how much as every system reports temps differently.
What were your temps before you installed the new block and radiator?
 
it was stock at 50 or so...I have a hard time believing these temps are correct though
 
You may want to try rocking your computer from side to side/front to back....what I call the tilt-a-whirl :cool: This should help to free any air bubbles trapped in the rad/cpu/gpu blocks and hopefully end up in the res. Then top it off and everything should be good.
 
yeah, there was an insane air bubble in the rad. It is "upside down" so I guess it got trapped...it appears there is probably another one in there still because I still have some cloudy water...I will work on it tomorrow.
 
I don''t know what rad or how you have it mounted, but hopefully you can turn it right side up without disconnecting anything. Thats the only "down" side to having your rad upside down :D
