I love with my 15.4" 1920x1200 E6500, but it's a little on the fat side. I was wondering if there was a high resolution 12" or 13" like this Sony VGN-Z720D/B with a 13.3" 1600 x 900 screen, except in a more affordable package. The 1600 x 900 is the highest I've seen for a 13" and around 1280 x 800 for a 12".

For a 12inch 1280x800, there is a Sager NP7220 for $1050 (this is customized) for similar to better specs than the sony.

As for a 13inch, i do believe sony is the only company currently that makes it with a 1600 x 900 resolution.

The 13 inch 1600x900 screen has a pixel density of ~142ppi while the 12 in 1280x800 screen is ~124ppi. Your 15 inch 1920x1200 screen is 147ppi, so if you want to retain a high pixel density, I'd say go with the 13 incher.

Thinkpad X200s comes in 1440x900 on a 12"
Thinkpad X300 comes in 1440x900 on a 13"
Thinkpad X60 came in 1400x1050 on a 12"
Thinkpad T60 came in 1400x1050 on a 14" and 1600x1200 on a 15"
