hi all, for probably my last post.


So is there a good monitor with a very low pixel pitch, high density pixels, with no PWM and not too expensive, out there?

I am returning the otherwise good Samsung S27c750P as I *really* notice the .311 pixel pitch! the 27" image looks fantastic, in size and immersiveness, compared to my 19" crt image, but this large image reveals the tiny crosshatchings of a high pixel pitch.
the dreaded screen door effect due to a pixel pitch, being too high, not enough pixel density.
[I read the new Asus 27" has the same pixel density.]

my crt viewsonic 19" has about .211 pixel density.

I do not want to take a chance on Korean monitors.

I read good words about the ViewSonic VP2770 but at $700, it is out of my range.

So what can I do? As I have read here now for years, the size of monitors has increased greatly but the pixel density is such that even at best, a photo image will look like "sandpaper"!

I wish to use my larger monitor for image viewing and games. "Slow rpgs" and scenes with open air vistas.

So is there a good monitor with a very low pixel pitch, high density pixels, with no PWM and not too expensive, out there?

probably only "professional" monitors might have to do.
