my dad is vacumming the house right now. and i have my door shut, so i can barely here the vacuum. but every time he turns the vacuum on i get a constant hight pitched noise threw my speakers, and when he turns the vaccum off the noise goes away. wtf is that all about. i showed my dad, and he confused too.
 
thats happened to me oh so many times, now im shooting in the dark on this one so don't trust me 100% but i think its kinda like an electrical surge that goes through your circuit and then hits your speakers causing a lil noice

But I get it sometimes too, I think it has to do with the power outlets he's using to plug the vaccum in and the power it uses to turn it on. Try a different outlet?
