Can there be any doubt that this is a "choke point" in the performance of these systems?

Hahahahahahahahahahahaaha.

Hahahaha.

Haha...

Hah...

Oh man that was funny

If you think the marketing copy is funny, you should read the "review" in Stereophile.

I immersion cool my system with snake oil!!!!!!111oneoneoneeleventyseven

The September issue of Stereophile gave these a ringing endorsement (of course, after one of their regular, non-scientific tests).

Should I get some for the PSU in my development machine?
Stereophile publishes mostly nonsense and ignores the fact that 99% of the performance differences in audio systems are due only to the speakers.

Why don't you get one of the brands of fuses used by PC Power & Cooling, like Bussman or Littlefuse?

Because I can see from their product shot that these are very low quality fuses in reality (the fit is poor, and they hide behind paper) and everybody uses Bussman or Littlefuse for a reason. Think of it this way; the 24 Hours of LeMans wasn't lost by using Bussman and blowing the main 16 hours in.

We're talking about electronics here, not automotive applications. Replacing a fuse with a higher-quality part will result in ZERO performance difference under normal conditions.

Ask them to produce a time vs overcurrent interruption graph, something Bussman and Littel have available.

Ask them the interruption current rating.

I wouldn't be surprised if they can't even produce the said information. Bussman and Littel specialize in fuses and they know what their doing as far as fuses.

This thread is done since it had no real point to begin with other than to be bait and has devolved since with personal attacks.

I suggest that people refrain from baiting other users in the future.
