High load temps ?

I have an e2200, overclocked to 3.2ghz with the core voltage at 1.54v. It gets up to a stable 52c during crysis (all very high, no aa, i only get like 17 fps in combat, but its playable) and i was wondering if this is the normal temp range. It idles at like 27c and then loads at 52c (full load) The cooler is a scythe ninja rev.b with a scythe slipstream fan on it.

What program are you using to read these temperatures? CoreTemp or RealTemp are preferred. Are they core temperatures, or the "CPU" temperature?

A core temperature of 52C load is fine. If it's the CPU temperature and the cores are in the 60C+ range, then it's probably still okay, although getting on the warm side.

You're over your vcore threshold.

The rest of the E2000's are listed as 1.5v maximum, so even if that page is wrong (Those numbers look weird) then you're still over.

yeah, i know its over the vcore threshold, but i really wanted to get to 3.2ghz, and that was the only way. I have noticed not other problems

I use coretemp, and speed fan. They both read the same.

My E2180 is running at 51C load @ 3.0ghz 1.34vcore, using AFP7. and the outside temp is only 40 degrees, I'm not comfortable with the CPU running @ 50C+ load, i'll probably go back to my original clock @ 2.56GHZ for 43C load temps.

Intel's thermal specifications are generally over 70C (note that's CPU/Tcase temperature which is lower than core temperature), and I wouldn't personally be worried about 50C, although I wouldn't want it to go much into the 60C range. But obviously stick with whatever you're comfortable with.
