I have been having trouble for a while trying to get my 560 to go over 280fsb, I was originally running it at 235x18 @ 4230mhz and it runs sweet. I dropped the multi to 14x and have trouble getting over 280fsb. 280 is only 3.9ghz so I know it can do a bit more.
Do some chips have probs with high fsb even thou the clock speed is lower than what its used to. I have tried more voltage.
235x18- 1.6vcore/1.9mem/1.6nb
280x14- 1.6vcore/1.9mem/1.8nb- tried up to 1.8vcore
1.8 is the highest the nb will go, (used to be able to set the Abit AA8 to 2.05v).
I have heard people at xtreme systems getting 299fsb on this mobo, any time I go over 280 it will get into windows, its just when you put any load on it at all (even web browsing) it keeps throttling the fsb back down, sometimes as low as 100.
Temps are pretty cool 50/60, any ideas guys?
