In case anyone is interested, here are some places to get NV40/NV45 cards at reasonable prices. Add to it if you can, please!

Fry's Outpost has every flavor of 6800 AGP available except LE, and even a BFG 6800Ultra OC with water-block attached!! Most are even at MSRP!!

NewEgg has some 6800s, also close to MSRP:
PNY Ultra, $509
Leadtek GT, $399
Albatron GT, $435
Leadtek Ultra, $509
MSI GT, $399
XFX Ultra, $510
eVGA Ultra, $489
eVGA GT, $388
XFX GT, $389
Aopen GT, $435

Note: All of these are AGP

I tried to find some X800/850 XTPEs on Froogle, and they all seem to be "out of stock." If anyone finds one, please post! (After getting one yourself, of course- if you're interested)

newegg also as many cards in their refurbished section. IIRC they had a BFG ultra for 469 and a XFX ultra for 459. 6800 GT's were around 370.

I don't think Gainward's cards are readily available State-side.

Also, I ran a quick follow-up:
X800XTPE@ZipZoomFly ($530)
Monarch, "Quantity Limited" *They list at $553, Froogle has them listed for $20 less.

I generally don't like refurb parts, especially not on $400+ components. And ESPECIALLY when they're only discounted 10% from the cost of a NEW box.

Agp cards are not that difficult to get at good prices, it is the pci-e cards that are a b*t*h to find.
People wanting high end pci-e cards *in-stock* this is were to find them.
Zipzoomfly.com has most high end gpu's available for around $100-$200 more than any where else.
Gameve.com has a few x800xt's around the $580 mark.
tftcomputers.com has one or two x800xt's for a reasonable price.
(feel free to add to this pathetic list)

Unfortunately, finding high end pci-e gpu's at a reasonably price is no easy task. All reports from manufactures for Nvidia are saying about 4 weeks before we can really start seeing the 6800gt in quantity, as for Ati- they are being less helpful when it come to dates.
Bare in mind that the next line of gpu's is only about 2 months away so for those of us that can wait it may be a better option. For those that can't, if you find it - can afford it - buy it!
But I tell you what, my MSI K8N Diamond is going to look very bare without a gpu when it arrives and this short supply incident is realy starting to piss me off!

I don't know of anywhere you can get a new X850XT PE right now, but there are a few floating in various forums.
