High Availability on ASA 5505 - user experience?

Does anyone have experience provisioning a HA setup on two ASA 5505?

I'm not sure of what an expected turn around time would be for this since I'm unfamiliar with setting one up. I understand the concept, but the execution is questionable for me. Additionally, I'l have to upgrade to the Security Plus license to complete this since we're using Base licenses as of now.

Some questions to through out there:
  • Do you have two separate WAN IPs coming into the building - 1 connecting to 1 ASA device?
  • I have a secondary unit here with a mirrored config from the floor production unit. Do i need to wipe that setup or keep it and configure additional settings?

Any help or suggestions would be great. I've initially place this on my December completion - I just hope I don't bite more than I can chew.
