Whats up anyway, my problem is...

I just made this new system, my mobo is a asus a8n sli premium, i don't have a soundcard(yet) but i'm having problems with sound.

I can't get sound in anything other than the RealTek Sound manager, when i do the 3d audio test.( and then only in the rear) I have installed : "Audio driver version 5.10.0.5750" "Directx 9.0c" "audio controller Nvidia(0059) "Audio codec ALC850"
I installed the controller first i believe.

when i plug my headphones in the back of my case, in the green(headphone) slot, i get an error in the manager saying that it's connected... but not? or not well enough? when i plug it in the Line in, it works... but not like headphones.

When i do the speaker configuration, i only get sound in the speaker setup... not headphone.

If anyone has any ideas... i'm all ears...(or not:() Thanks!
