I have not been able to find any articles addressing Windows 7 Heterogeneous Multi-Monitor setups and gaming.

I was wondering if I would see a performance boost from using my GeForce 670 exclusively for my 1920x1080 primary monitor, then using the on board graphics (included with the Asus P8Z77-V Pro). I would use the motherboard's graphics for my secondary monitor and potentially a TV via HDMI (on rare occasion).
It makes sense that offloading work from my primary graphics card could help improve gaming performance. I am concerned though, that the P8Z77 boards do not have a dedicated graphics processor. Would using the motherboard to drive 1-2 displays decrease my CPU's performance? Offloading work from my 670, only to burden the CPU may not be the best bet.
Has anyone else experimented with this?
