I have a i866PERL mobo with 3.06 Northwood chip. System shuts itself within 2 seconds everytime I put the RAM into the slots. System will stay turned on if I remove the RAM. I have tried two different sets of RAM (Crucial & Kingston).

I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
